Today is January’s LAST day! Imagine how fast time flies! It was just like yesterday when we’re all busy getting ready for new year and now, a month has passed already! Whew! Just wanna share some things in bullet here, OK? Well, these were the things that made me happy:
Yesterday, Vhong Navarro (who was my brother’s schoolmate back in grade school and who happens to be a local actor) sent help for him, the type of help you would never expect!
I spent time with someone special.
Slept better. Been lacking sleep since last week.
My friend who’s residing in the US will send me shoes.
Been getting better with Photoshop (thanks tutors! :D) and wait, there’s more!
I weighed myself and I was super stoked to have lost 10 POUNDS in a week! No, I didn’t expect it would be this fast! Though I haven’t been eating rice and I quit on sweets, sodas and fatty food since last week I guess, those helped!

So I missed the service.

January 29, 2012

My saturday, as usual, was typical. I DID NOT do anything except slouching the whole day to finish City of Ashes. Then come Sunday, I filled it with PRODUCTIVITY, baby! LOL. Grilled some fish for a healthy lunch then started being Karen CARPENTER again for the third time. First here, second here.

No one was home to help me build my second book shelf so I did everything myself: from screwing those L brackets on the wood and mounting them on the wall. My hands were sore after but it was worth it!

during the mounting process LOL.

finished product! :D yey!

It took me 5 hours to clean my small room because my yosi breaks were longer than the actual cleaning! So after that, I went downstairs and asked my dad to help me fix my cable. It still wasn’t fixed because the cable screw didn’t fit the splitter.

cable forest!

I finished my “workout” around 8PM then took a long bath, watched Inception on HBO, finished half bottle of Tanduay Ice Red but still couldn’t sleep until 1AM the next day. I was tired but happy. :D Would do anything for my little sanctuary because it is where my heart is. :D Naks. Oh yeah, I missed Sunday service today. First for 2012.

The Hunchback of Notredame on Disney!

My blog’s a mess. Now am really not sure what type it is. I have been posting a lot if not reviews, food! LOL. Like this one, another review! But what have you hahah! Seriously now, it was my first time to watch The Hunchback of Notredame on Disney channel this afternoon for reasons I don’t know, well maybe I got bored or something. It was an old Disney movie so the animation was ofcourse, old school but seriously, it was cool. I mean a lot of parts in the movie could happen in real life, like how the villain Judge Frollo appeared corrupted and powerful and killed anyone who went his way and especially Quasimodo’s character. He did not show anything bad against his people though he wasn’t really loved at first. He did not disrespect nor distrust anyone but he just completely showed how good his heart was despite of his unappealing appearance. In reality, people would always treat you like your some kind of a contagious illness without knowing first that you’re not even infected. Hope I could have Quasimodo’s heart: pure.

Movie Title: The Hunchback of Notredame

The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes.

When I finished reading City of Bones, I was really disappointed. It just wasn’t the type of story that I would pursue at all. The characters, plot line, the year it happened, the weird combination of sorcery, vampires and wolves just did not go well for me. But I HAVE to read my books and I was honestly grateful that I didn’t buy all 4. At some point, I hope that City of Ashes would change my perception about the series. You know, what? IT DID. It did change my feelings, now I love it! The character’s humor did not end with Book One, who would expect that Simon would do anything - including turning into a cool vampire - for Clary, how powerful Clary was, how Jace fought his feelings for Clary and chose to be only his brother and how Imogen and Maryse humbled themselves. This book was way better than the first. Can’t wait to get my hands on City of Glass!

Today was all about chilling at the office. First time in so many months that I felt like I did not work at all. Aside from it was avail (just had 8 calls, thank goodness), EJ and I were tasked to be floor supports (mentors) for our newbies. I was on floor support aux for 2 hours and guided 2 new comers about our process. It was fun because I just 100 percent love being a mentor. It makes me feel like I have value at work and that I have something important to contribute. The most important “feeling” I get would be how my leads entrust me. So there, was just feeling good the whole time.Since it was my last day at work, EJ, Chuni and I accompanied Euler to grab a bite at McDonald’s. Didn’t eat, though. Just took pictures. The eyes look at what it wants to see.27:366.

Forced to change.

I mentioned, explained and reiterated in my past post how I’m scared of changes and adjustments. There must be someone eavesdropping because tonight, when I logged on to my Facebook account, here’s what I saw:

Whoever invented Timeline might have been a blogger of some sort. Just look at the Cover photo feature where you could put up a header and how big your pictures could get on your wall. They are actually FORCING and PUSHING this update because they knew that not everyone would go for it. One thing I hated most about it? the fact that almost everything is redundant. Its dizzying, really. But what can I do? I am just a simple Facebook user. I CAN’T COMPLAIN. The f*ck.

Two things I could say to you my wall: you’re my favorite awesome wall and that I’ll miss you. :’((

*now am really thinking of deactivating my Facebook account, SRLY.*
