I envy so many book bloggers who are based abroad. Really. They could easily purchase books either from book stores or online shops. Even if I purchase from an online shop abroad, it will definitely cost me more which ofcourse I won’t opt for. Sigh. Though Good Reads and Twitter make me updated with book releases, I always have to wait around a month or 2 (or worst, forever LOL) for the books to be available on our stores locally. That reason alone drives me nuts! HAHA! And aside from getting books, I also envy them because authors usually have book tours and it would again take time for them to visit the country (or worst, they don’t). The last author that I remember visited Manila is Lauren Kate during Fallen book launch. So I guess I kind of have a point, right?
These are SOME of the books that I am really drooling over but could not get one. Am not sure if our book stores are poorly stocked but as a guess, they’re also having issues shipping items especially the best sellers ones.
